Vert Woods 

Vert Woods is 171 acres of mixed woodland, set within 850 acres of woods, and secured by a local benefactor for community benefit.

We are a small but growing group of people seeking to build a viable community asset, engaging with a wide range of groups and individuals and truly build a beautiful and working woodland.

We seek to integrate deep nature connection, with working, viable woods creating local jobs, and healthy and deepening biodiversity. A Vision Day (next 25 years) was held in late November 2015, and we are now increasingly engaging with local communities and seeking to build new ones. Join us!
